Trinity Community Church

Rev. Perry Raak became Pastor at Trinity Community Church in January of 1989. Pastor Perry and family moved to Kent from Tempe, Arizona where he had been the pastor at Desert Haven Community Church for over 10 years.  

Pastor Perry was born and raised in Holland, Michigan. He attended Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa and graduated in 1970. He then attended New Brunswick Theological Seminary for two years and then Western Theological Seminary, where he graduated in January of 1974. Perry and his wife Cherie have been married for 41 years and have 4 grown children and one grandchild.  

 Throughout the years of ministry here in Kent, Pastor Perry has been active in the community. He has participated in both the Kent and Federal Way Ministerial Associations. He has served on the Board for the Kent Youth and Family Services, Seattle Christian Schools, the Mayor's Multicultural Task Force, and Kent's Human Services Commission. He is currently a member of the Kent Rotary Club. 

Pastor Perry is available for marriage and family counseling, conducts weddings and funerals, and does grief counseling.
